Annual Research Report

In order to advance high‑impact wealth management research and strengthen industry–academia collaboration, the Academy has established two dedicated research grant schemes, fully funded by a generous donation from Bank of China (Hong Kong):

  • Strategic Applied Research Scheme in Wealth Management
  • Exploratory Research Scheme in Wealth Management

These schemes are designed to promote research excellence and incentivize high‑quality scholarly output in the wealth management sector. They support the Academy’s vision of becoming a world‑leading hub for wealth management education and research. By funding high‑quality projects, the schemes aim to address key industry challenges, encourage innovation and talent development, and generate insights that shape industry practice, policy, and regulation in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and the global community.

BOCHK Research Paper Award

The BOCHK Research Paper Award has been established to recognize and reward outstanding published academic papers that enhance both the theoretical and practical dimensions of wealth management. Up to two papers may be selected each year, with each winning paper receiving a prize of HK$50,000.

Through honouring exceptional research, the initiative seeks to foster deeper collaboration between academia and industry, injecting innovative momentum into the sector’s development, thereby demonstrating the Faculty’s strong commitment to research excellence and raising its global research profile.
